Reinforcement:
Table groups will be able to earn "warm fuzzies" (pom pom craft balls) for good behavior. The table group with the most warm fuzzies at the end of the day will earn a special reward (at teacher's discretion). Individual students will receive verbal recognition and praise, positive notes sent home, etc. |
Discipline
System:
| Misbehavior #1 | the student will receive a verbal warning |
| Misbehavior #2 | the
student will conference with the teacher and will
decide on a consequence that will be given if the behavior re-occurs |
| Misbehavior #3 | the
student will fill out a refocus form (to go home to parents)
and will receive the pre-determined consequence |
| Misbehavior #4 | phone call or conference with parents |

with violent or destructive behavior will be sent directly to the principal.**
